Volume Profile shows you how much gold was traded at each price. It helps you see which prices the market accepted and which it rejected.

What it is
A normal volume bar tells you how much traded in a period of time. Volume Profile turns it sideways. You see a histogram beside your chart: long bars mark prices where a lot of trading happened, and short bars mark prices that price rushed through.
Three terms to know. The point of control is the price with the most volume. The value area is the range holding about 70% of the volume. High-volume nodes often act as support or resistance, and low-volume nodes are thin areas that price tends to cross fast.
How you use it on gold
On gold, you usually draw the profile for one session, one day or one week. If price stays inside yesterday's value area, expect it to rotate there. If price closes outside it and holds, a new balance area may be forming. One honest limit: spot gold from a CFD broker has no central volume, so your profile uses your broker's tick volume. Gold futures show real exchange volume. We show you how to tell the difference.
What you will learn
- Reading the point of control and value area
- Telling high-volume from low-volume nodes
- Drawing session, daily and weekly profiles
- Combining profile levels with supply and demand zones
- Knowing when tick volume is good enough
One mistake to avoid
Many traders treat the point of control as a magnet that price must return to. It often does, but not always, and not on your schedule. Ask which period your profile covers, and whether that period matters for your trade.

Pros
- It costs nothing to start.
- You can pause and replay at your own pace.
Cons
- Lessons are often out of order.

- Nobody checks your charts.
How we teach it
With us, Volume Profile is never taught alone. It is one part of a single method that helps you decide whether a gold zone is worth a trade, and how much to risk.
- A fixed order, from the basics to live use
- A view-only investor password, so you see us use it on real trades
We are paid for this program, so check us against our live trading through the investor password.
Keep in mind
A profile shows what has already traded. It does not tell you what happens next. Keep a stop-loss on every trade.
